Full-time Clinical Research Assistant
An immediate full-time position (35 hours/week)
is available on the dynamic clinical research team of Dr. Mark Eisenberg. This
position will be based in-person at the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology of the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research (Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, QC),and will report to Dr. Tetiana Zolotarova,
Clinical Research Associate. Dr. Eisenberg’s research focus includes public
health topics, such as smoking cessation, and the primary and secondary
prevention of cardiovascular disease ( see more details here). The goal of this position is to publish
knowledge syntheses (e.g., systematic reviews and meta-analyses) and commentary
articles on the abovementioned topics. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s
or master’s degree in epidemiology, public health or a related field (Recent bachelor’s graduates with an
interest in medicine, epidemiology or a related field are encouraged to apply), is highly motivated,
has scientific writing experience, wants to pursue a career in the biomedical sciences, and can commit
to 1 year of work with the team.
Salary:
$24-28 per hour (based on
qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full time (35 hours/week)

Full-time Clinical Research Assistant and Data Manager
The Peter Brojde Lung Cancer Centre (PBLCC) is looking for a full-time Clinical Research Assistant and Data Manager. The post-holder is
responsible for a range of different tasks including both support for clinical
oncology care for patients and supporting and promoting research activities in
the PBLCC. They will report directly to the PBLCC Directors but will be
encouraged to propose and develop their own research ideas and initiatives
consistent with the overall aims and priorities of the PBLCC.

Full-time Research Assistant
The Mental health in
Adulthood: VAriability in Neurodevelopment and Resilience (MAVAN-R) project,
the adult version of the Maternal Adversity, Vulnerability and Neurodevelopment
(MAVAN) longitudinal study, and part of the Developmental Research in Early Adversity
Mental Health BIological Susceptibility and Gender (DREAM BIG) consortium, is
looking for a full-time research assistant. The position’s primary role is the
re-consenting of the young adults and their assessment. We use a mixture of
questionnaire (self-report, mother-report, and partner/close friend-report),
direct assessment (online CANTAB), and interview methods. Additional tasks
(data cleaning, management, and analyses, social media, lab organization, and
manuscript preparation) will also be conducted. The ideal candidate holds a master’s
level in Psychology or related field, is fluently bilingual and has research
experience with young adults.

$40,000 - $54,000/annually in
accordance with qualifications and experience
Hours: Flexible working hours with both in-person and remote working conditions
with a significant level of autonomy
