Core Facilities

Imaging and Phenotyping

The LDI’s Imaging and Phenotyping Core Facility offers services to determine the phenotype of tumors or the cardiovascular system in small animals (rodent).

Services

  • In vivo fluorescence and luminescence imaging (Ami HT)
  • High-frequency ultrasound imaging (VEVO 3100)
  • Cardiac electrical activity using 6 lead surface electrocardiogram
  • Intraventricular pressure or pressure – volume loops by Millar catheter
  • Blood pressure by Millar catheter, tail cuff or in an operator-independent fashion by telemetry
  • Blood analysis with a VETSCAN® HM5 hematology analyzer
  • Various microsurgery
  • Necropsy and morphometry
  • Training
