In keeping with the guidelines of Quebec and Canada’s public health authorities, the Lady Davis Institute is conforming with McGill’s Faculty of Medicine decision to cancel or postpone all conferences from now through, at least, May 10, 2020. This includes weekly axis seminars and the Distinguished Lecture Series. As well, Psychiatry Research Day – which was scheduled for March 27 – and the LDI Scientific Retreat – which was to take place on May 7 – are postponed. The Memorial Symposium in Honour of Prem Ponka, which was to occur on May 29, will also be rescheduled for a later date.
This decision will be revisited later in May based on the status of the COVID-19 outbreak at that time. The Lady Davis Institute is committed to the health and well-being of all its staff and students, as well as the broader public, and we will continue to do our part to help contain COVID-19.
