He is the author of approximately 290 peer reviewed publications and is an investigator with the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies (CNODES).

Major Research Activities

Dr. Pierre Ernst’s current research activities centre around the safety of medications as used in the general population after approval for commercialization. He is an investigator with the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies (CNODES), which collaborates with the Drug Safety and Effectiveness Network (DSEN), and is funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR).
