Dr. Christel Renoux has an active research program in pharmacoepidemiology using large health databases, with a particular interest in neuropsychiatric drugs and diseases.

Major Research Activities

Dr. Christel Renoux’s research program focuses on neuroepidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology.

 

Using various large health databases, she evaluates the safety and effectiveness of medications, particularly related to neurological and psychiatric medications and outcomes, while applying advanced epidemiological methods.

 

She also studies the epidemiology of cerebrovascular diseases in terms of risk factors, prevention and treatment. Her research has been funded by various organizations such as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Parkinson Canada.
